My engagement is kind of blur. We were engaged for about a year and a half, I remember wanting to start the planning right away. I was so excited. We spent most of the time making picture frame magnets for the favors, looking for apartments, going to our friends Russ and Brooke's house for marriage counseling and dinner.
We checked out lots of places to have the reception and ended up on the Coliseum in downtown St Pete.
We decided to have the wedding there as well.
We also checked out lots of catering places and finely decided to go with Harvey's 4th street Grill.
So we had the reception hall booked our caterer booked and our party favors almost completely done. Now on to the fun stuff. Dresses! My mom, Carol, Amber and my sisters headed to David's Bridal for my dress I must have tried on 20 or 30 dresses and I found it. I had never seen a dress like this one before (of course now they're all over the place) it was beautiful yet simple. It was all white with red trim around the top and bottom.
I fell in love with it right away, but I wondered what people would think of it because I hadn't seen anyone wear wedding dress that had another color other than white in it before. That didn't stop me.
